What will probably be hitting the papers and blogs soon enough is only a perverted version of the truth. I’m hoping this works, though my life isn’t a movie (if it was, it would probably be more like The Craft than Clueless), and things in real life never seem to work out like they do at the theaters.
In fact, the person that I most want to read this is probably staying far away from the internet. But I still hope that he does happen to see it. Because I’m not just writing it for the fallout that is going to occur about five seconds after I hit the ‘Publish’ button, but because I want someone who was hurt by me to know the truth, what really happened. My side of the story. The only side that should matter.
If you’re actually reading this Bri, I want to apologize to you. You’re the person I hurt the most and you didn’t deserve that. In fact, I understand if you never want to see me again.
For anyone else who signed on and started reading: It started like this…

"The Sunscale Islands. I guess it's just one of those places, y'know? You'd never know it existed, not unless you knew where to look. And with a name like that, it sounds like paradise. Made me think of golden beaches, and the sun reflecting off crystal clear waters. To be fair, it was a fitting name. It's like California without all of the people, great little getaway.
And yet.. Sometimes there's just places that are better left alone."
Following a touring cycle that stretched on for eternity, Avenged Sevenfold were making a break for it, in the best way they could. A little holiday to a small group of islands tucked away in the midst of the ocean, where no one knew their names, nor did they exactly care. It sounded like a great idea at first. But it's never always that easy, and that's especially apparent when tragedy strikes before they even step foot on the islands. With the band torn in two, it's down to survival, luck's favour and generally being a stubborn pain in the backside to bring them back together.
But then, just when they think they're out of the woods... It's time for a bit of an encore.
Worlds collide in the wake of a tragic accident.
How far will one family go to keep a secret?
"Because I used to believe in justice, a place where there is better judgement..."
A plague has descended upon Huntington Beach. A dormant serial killer has reawoken after five years of absence, and it's down to a specialied unit of agents to track him down, alongside the help of a rather bitter detective.

Finally though, their paths cross. But if they thought the past was problematic, they were all in for a rude awakening. There's bigger fish to fry.
