"The Sunscale Islands. I guess it's just one of those places, y'know? You'd never know it existed, not unless you knew where to look. And with a name like that, it sounds like paradise. Made me think of golden beaches, and the sun reflecting off crystal clear waters. To be fair, it was a fitting name. It's like California without all of the people, great little getaway.
And yet.. Sometimes there's just places that are better left alone."
Following a touring cycle that stretched on for eternity, Avenged Sevenfold were making a break for it, in the best way they could. A little holiday to a small group of islands tucked away in the midst of the ocean, where no one knew their names, nor did they exactly care. It sounded like a great idea at first. But it's never always that easy, and that's especially apparent when tragedy strikes before they even step foot on the islands. With the band torn in two, it's down to survival, luck's favour and generally being a stubborn pain in the backside to bring them back together.
But then, just when they think they're out of the woods... It's time for a bit of an encore.
"Because I used to believe in justice, a place where there is better judgement..."

Finally though, their paths cross. But if they thought the past was problematic, they were all in for a rude awakening. There's bigger fish to fry.
